Babis war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Über die Kommunikation können wir nicht viel sagen, weil wir keine Fragen hatten. Haben aber am Ende noch einmal miteinander telefoniert. Für uns war es rundum schön, wir kommen gerne wieder.

It was an extremely quiet island - perfect for rest and relaxation! We had a great week at the villa.

  We stayed at Sarakiniko Cottage in June. It was really great in a lovely location away from the tourist hustle and bustle. Babis has put in lots of little touches... read more (like pool towels; a great radio and a coffee maker) and the cottage is really comfortable.

We loved having the pool for a quick dip after a day out exploring. Poros was lovely and there are restaurants and a couple of bars/cafes and a supermarket in Poros port just down the hill.

The hanging chair was a lovely way to while away an hour with a good book, and the outside space was great (really appreciated the outside shower too).

We'd highly recommend Valsamis Cruises on Captain Yannis's boat in the port . We went to Ithaca and Zante with him and had a great time.

One thing to mention is that the secret path to the beach that other people have talked about is not for the faint hearted. If you aren't pretty fit and agile, it is dangerous. We made it down once, but we didn't go back even though the beach was nice.

We loved the pool and the large garden area. We also enjoyed the short walk into Lefkes round the corner - a nice stroll! Thanks to Babis for a great stay and a really nice bottle of wine on arrival. There even was a bottle of wine in the fridge. We also enjoyed the pool. The only thing we didn't know is that the house is directly on the road that connects the city to Skala, therefore a lot of cars are passing by. Other than that everything was fine.

  Saraliniko Cottage is perfectly located for exploring Kefalonia without being tied to the tourist resorts. The cottage is relatively basic but comes with all the essentials for a family holiday. The small pool is perfect for kids although younger children would need supervision due to the unguarded 2m drop alongside it. We made good use of the terrace and bbq too but had many excursions around the island too. Babtis responded quickly to all our questions and the villa was kept clean throughout our stay. I would happily recommend this as a great affordable stay.

Wenn man das Haar in der Suppe suchen möchte, dann vielleicht die Straße davor. Der Verkehr war aber nur sporadisch.

I met Babis a few times and he was very friendly, he was also easy to get hold of if we needed something or had a question that needed answering. Would definitely come back and the location is perfect to use as a base if you have the luxury of a car!
